While searching for things to use in her homemade jewelry, Hok'ee, a young Navajo woman stumbles onto a hidden deposit of rare rubies scattered near the foot of the O'Leary Peak north of Flagstaff Arizona.
This seemingly innocent discovery unleashes a series of events, more cataclysmic than anyone involved could have imagined. With the help of Sun, his beautiful Hopi guide, and Tom Schilling of the DOJ, Harry sorts through the suspicious parties who may or may not have anything to do with the rubies or the mounting murders. And as people begin to die, the clues become more and more obscure, but truth will out.
