This Book Is Right on Target!

This is a fantastic book! Bill Van Steenis gets at the heart and soul of dealing with job loss. It is not just about doing things the right way. It is about "who" you are and what makes life worth living. It is not just about making a living but about what makes a great life. I highly recommend this book not only for those going through a job transition but for everyone that wants to take another look at "how" they are living their life! Michael R. Estep

It's about time!!

Bill VanSteenis helped me reexamine my life in the late 1980's and changed my career trajectory to date. He has helped me tweak all along the way. That is not easy because I am an executive recruiter and am supposed to have all these answers for my clients. With razor intelligence and integrity, he forces you to face the truth about yourself, whether you want to or not. More than a "Dear Abby" confirmation of what you already know, he helps you understand things that you didn't even dare think. I am looking forward to the distillation of this wisdom and wit in this book from what I have known for over 20 years. Kyle J. Luke, Managing Director, Townsend Search Group, Birmingham, MI

First class information from a first class man!

Don't just change to a better job...change your whole life for the better. You can with this book. On many occasions I have witnessed Bill VanSteenis captivate a roomful of people in an impromptu setting as he generously shares his wisdom, insight and experience. His writing style is the same whether it be this book or "Letters to the Editor," clear, concise, and loaded with the truth! And the best part is - I know Bill and he really does want you to succeed in all areas of your life, not just in your employment. Gain or regain your distinct identity as Bill VanSteenis walks you through the process. VanSteenis is a man of high integrity and lives what he writes. You can trust him and his information. VanSteenis knows the subject + has earned the respect of many.

Mr. VanSteenis has been a huge help to me in organizational issues, decisions, and remedies for years. He goes beyond the average professional in his field. Reexamining life at the time of a job loss is essential to making the right decision going forward. In my personal situation, I lost my executive position in June 2005 and with Mr. VanSteenis's help, decided it was time to try my hand at consulting and teaching. After four years, I could not be happier or more fulfilled. Give this book a read if you have lost your job, could lose your job, or (most importantly) should lose your current job! Sincerely, John Zarb

I know this guy!

I have just ordered this book but I already know I am going to love it. Having known about the author's company for many, many years, and also known of many who have benefited from his wisdom, philosophy and life approach, this book can't help but be a boost to those who are among the new multitudes finding themselves desperate, searching, and/or out of work. Mr. Van Steenis is a principaled individual, and one who does so much behind the scenes to benefit so many. I am without any doubt that this book will be a help to anyone who will invest $20 in their future. -Michael Jean Nystrom-Schut
