Another of the powerful tools in the Kabbalah teachings, easily understood through the writing of Rav Yehuda Berg, I recommend the other books written by the Ravs Berg, this includes, Patriarch, Rav Phillip and his sons, Ravs, Yehuda and Michael. It will change your life, and the way you live it. This is a good place to start your journey, you won't be disappointed.

Why do kabbalist wear the red string

This book will tell you why the red string is an important tool for kabbalah students. It will teach you what the "evil eye" is and how to use the red string to protect yourself from it. You will find out where the red string comes from (and no it is not yarn from a craft store). If you want to know th power behind the string, this book is for you.

Like Many Other Customs and Beliefs

Okay....so some people bought the book thinking it was going to give them details of Jewish Mysticism? Did some people buy it because they thought there might be some magic to be learned? It is SO SIMPLE...just think about it.....IF you put a red string on your left wrist, it will be hard to ignore the fact that it is there. And, every time you notice that it is there, (assuming you actually read the book) you'll think about the belief that you get what you give...or karma...or whatever YOU want to call it. And, you'll think twice about lusting after anything or being jealous or getting angry. It is similar to putting a string around your finger so you won't forget....in fact, it is exactly the same. And, if a million people buy the book, tie a red string on, and remember even once a day to do the "right" thing....it will be worth whatever it costs. Or, we could all just think, live, and behave....with love, kindness, respect, care, and patience toward everyone and take the next step toward creating the beautiful world it will become. It would have been nice to have gotten the "free" string card in the book I ordered!!!

This is an awesome book!!!

This has proven to be one of the best books I have read all year! I would suggest it to anyone with an open mind and a desire to learn about Kabbalah. A great introduction to Kabbalah, it also goes into great detail explaing why the red string is so powerfull. I wear mine to remind myself that to have positive energy come to me, I must send out positive energy!!! Whether you call it Karma, Tikkune, or cause and effect, this is a universal law we all live by. Whether we are aware of it or not.
