"The Red Haired Hare" is about a nice, caring hare named Ruby who was bullied most of her life. Ruby wanted to be accepted by Mike Multi-Hare, the hare that bullied her the most. She gave up her most beautiful asset to be like Mike. Ruby didn't know it, but Mike was jealous of her and he wanted to be like her. Ruby wanted to look like Mike and Mike wanted to look like Ruby. Despite being bullied, Ruby always maintained good character. Ruby realized that she was okay before she changed and Mike realized that good character is more important than outward appearance.
