I enjoyed this book tremendously!!!!!!!! It literaly took me to the Isle of Esmerelda. His discription of the isle brought me to paradise. His writing style is very much like F. Scott Fitzgerald. It was just like Fitzgerald's "Tortilla Flats." There were stories within stories that really captured my attention. The characters were outrageously interesting. In conclusion, I really enjoyed reading this book and would recomend for you to read it too.
Very "Tom Robbins" like!

A charming and whimsical escape to paradise! I thoroughly enjoyed the tropical setting, made me feel like I was really there . . . and the wild and crazy antics that happen on Esmeralda reminded me of some of Tom Robbins novels. A very fun read!
