Some legends should stay buried.
In 1577, Spanish conquistadors carve a bloody path through the American Southwest in search of gold...and find something far more terrifying.
A mysterious tribe known only as the Sky People.
They are stronger. Smarter. Different.
And when they are slaughtered, they do not stay silent.
Four hundred years later, in a quiet New Mexico town, the past awakens.
Power fails. Communication is cut.
And something begins to hunt.
A towering figure.
A glinting blade.
The sound of death cutting through the night.
SWISH... SWISH... SWISH...
As bodies fall and fear spreads, a small-town sheriff races to uncover the truth behind the killings-before the legend consumes them all.
What he discovers will challenge everything we think we know about history...and what may still be watching us from above.
Note About The Author: This book was written by my father in the mid-1970s. Although he attempted to publish it at that time, he was unsuccessful. After his passing in 1985, I placed the original manuscript on my own shelf, where it remained for four decades. Recently, I decided to read his typed manuscript and found myself impressed by both the compelling narrative and his distinctive writing style. Notably, he crafted a story reminiscent of "The X Files" before the series existed. I sincerely hope you appreciate my father's inaugural full-length novel as much as I did, even fifty years after its creation. .
