If you've ever been in love then you know it sometimes comes with deception, and renegade cheaters. We, as men, don't openly talk about many of the things that affect us emotionally to one another, or our significant others. We just "suck it up" as our fathers, as our grandfathers, and as our great grandfathers have taught us to do since the beginning of time. As boys and young men, our mothers nurtured us. Our fathers make us tough. Teaching us what it is to be a man. Our uncles, brothers, cousins and other male family members treat it as a right of passage to get roughed up by them. Being trained to be tough, and never cry about anything will harden you. You probably won't be very open emotionally either. So it should be no mystery at all to women, that we are Fort Knox when it comes to displaying emotions. We make mistakes in life, in love, in career choices, and a host of other things because we don't listen when we think we're right. And we usually don't want to be told we're wrong either. Keeping feelings in check is not a bad thing, but you have to open the vents at some point. Otherwise, you'll just Explode Figuratively speaking, of course. We are living in a very different time now from what our aunties, uncles, and parents did. This is a time of rampant greed, selfishness, and arrogance. A time of drugs, extreme capitalism, and violence. Sexuality has run amuck, and the lowest level of respect for life is prevalent. It's time to expand your mind.
