Considered by many to be the classic book on faith. Dr. Price's written an spoken ministry had a profound influence on the direction of my on life. My sister, Florence, had a collision with a truck carrying hot asphalt. She received third degree burns, and her pelvis sufferes seven fractures. She was compelled to lie in a bed of salve because her burns were so severe that she could not stnd the touch of bedding or clothing. X-rays showed that the sharp points of bones were headed into vital organs. Because of her burns, she could not be operated on. In desperation, I contacted Dr. Price. and he agreed to come. As he prayed for her, God laid His mighty hand upon her and healed her, to the amazement of doctors and nurses. New X-rays were taken--every bone had gone back into place Demos Shakarian (Founder of Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International).
Breath of fresh air for those who are confused about faith!

Charles Price after 20 years of ministry in the early 1900s answers the question of why some people get healed and some do not. It is a real eye opener when he reveals that "real faith" comes from God alone and that we cannot manufacture it by believing hard enough or doing things to prove that we have it. He says that we need to trust God to give us the faith we need not only for healing, but also for salvation. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8,9 (KJV) and that we need to pursue Jesus because the Bible says "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;" Hebrews 12:2 (KJV) He gives many wonderful stories to show us how this principle worked in his ministry and how we can apply it to our own situation. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has been perplexed by this nagging question.
A quality insight

No one else seems to have understood the source of real faith like charles Price has. His insight is so meaningful that it has changed the way I view faith, and has strengthened the ministry I already had for healing. He discloses that the secret to great faith is to have a deep relationship with God. There is no substitute. Faith cannot be created within oursleves, but finds its source in God, who gives it as a gift to those who seek him. Gene G. Day

This is a classic and Charles Price supplies the answer as to why some people do not get healed by Christ. If you've struggled with this question, this is the book for you. Price was used mightily by God in the healing ministry and reading this book will strengthen your faith rather than weaken it.
An Awesome Book about Faith and Healing
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 27 years ago
Dr. Price helped me get back to the basic principle of divine healing -- focusing on the healer (Jesus) rather than the healing. His view that faith cannot be generated by humans, rather it is given by God, revolutionized my thinking. This idea takes away much of the worry and stress about stepping out on one's own human effort; rather we are only successful when we act under a complete dependance on Jesus, the healer. If you are hitting a wall when seeking for healing, this book is a must read.

A clear illustration of the reality of Jesus Christ paying for the christians' healing, deliverance and salvation at Calvary's cross. This book is great for explaining the doctrine of divine healing in perfect accordance with the written Word of the living God. A must read for the layman as well as the preacher.
