The Reading Workshop

Great book to explain how to set up a reading workshop in your classroom. Serafini uses examples from his classroom to help visualize what a reading workshop looks like. The language and concepts are easy to understand. I would definately recommend this book to anyone who wants to enhance reading in their classroom.

A treasure among books on reading

I was at a workshop in for Guiding Readers and Writers: Grades 2-6, and I found this book. It is amazing! It is very practical. It is very easy to read. It is easy to take ideas from this book and apply them in the classroom the next day.
