They make us think, they deal with our emotions and they make us laugh. Ian Philips and Felix Rumpus make us do all three with their new book, "The Rapture for Sinners". Mr. Rumpus is a satyr who is both a sophisticate and a devil. He gives us an explanation of The Rapture and it is designed for those of us who will either been left behind or who care not to take part. He guides us through The Rapture in a way that many of us have never been privy to and does so with humor and wonderful doodles. He provides us with games we can play so we can better enjoy the "wonderful" "Left Behind" series, he equates pop heroes with Biblical characters and he lets us know where we might find the righteous people He also provides a guide for people like me, a Jew, who disregards The Rapture (but I must admit it is a great way to describe the end of time). There is also a bit of a guide for Mormons and pagans. If you have ever wondered if you should participate in The Rapture, this is the book you must read. It is wickedly funny yet amazingly honest.
