I love this book

The book came in good condition like new. The cover is not exactly like in the picture but the illustrations inside are nice and it's new.

The Random House of Fairy Tales

The Random House Book of Fairy Tales (Random House Book of ...) I'm not sure if my other review worked so just in case I'm doing it again. I was so impressed at the quality of trouble taken in the packaging and postage of my purchase. Because the book was bought at a fabulously low price, I guess I didn't expect that kind of care to be taken. I was so wrong. This experience has encouraged me to buy more books from you. I have grandchildren and grandnieces and -nephews that I want to give the gift of reading to and you'll be very instrumental in doing that. Again thank you.

Every child should have this book. All three of my children love this book. They take turns picking the story we read and then we discuss it ( how it differs from the "movie" version, etc). Absolutely wonderful. Our favorite book for our children.

A perfect collection of Fairy Tales

This book is absolutely wonderful. My childen love it and it is exactly what is being taught in the schools.

From 35 year old mom of 6: I have read from many different fairy tale books over the years and this one is still my favorite. The reasons it is my favorite fairy tale book are: 1. It contains 19 of my favorite stories 2. Amy Ehrlich who wrote the stories, consulted several different versions, and retold them in their full splendor without dumbing the text down. 3. On every two page spread is a large detailed illustration by Diane Goode emmanating much warmth and charm. Although the text is not dumbed down, this book still appeals to the 4-8 year old range because of the large picture to text ratio.

Fairy Tale Book Response

In the book The Random House book of Fairy Tales by alot of authors is the best fairy tale book that I have read in the world. The best Fairy tale in the book is The Emperer's new clothes. I picked this story because I thought that it was funny because the tailors played a trick on him and left him naked and the peasents thought it was the new fab. I reccomend this book to all the kids.
