He was a teen of average intelligence. But, he was athletic, goal oriented, highly driven, and absolutely fearless. Well, I mean, he was always chasing after fascinating girls, and young women; even though he was completely terrified of what might happen, should he actually catch one. Still, he was constantly setting goals for himself. Then, every time, he would push past any fear he felt, learned what he had to, and worked as hard as he must; to achieve those goals. He was, however, coming of age during the late '60s, early '70s; very heady times. As in Pot Heads, Acid Heads..... Social revolution was in the air, political revolution filled the streets. He wanted to make a difference in life, make the world a better place. So he jumped in with both feet, fleeing small town America, and heading for San Francisco. It was 1969, he missed the Summer of Love, by just a tad. Trying to catch up, and keep up with the times which, "were-a-changing", he spent the next few years stumbling from one charming misadventure to the next. He gained, and here in shares, many insights into psychedelic drugs, music, friendship and, most importantly, love. Now, looking back over his life, at age 64, he finds it begs the question: How on earth did a highly driven, goal oriented, fearless, university pre-law wonder child; end up, limping through life as a 15 buck per hour gardener? In large part, he blames his 40 year, nightly marijuana use. But check out his story, and you be the judge.
