Superb overview of the radio business!

Though I'm not directly involved in the business of radio, I found this book to be quite interesting. Indeed this book is downright inspirational! I especially enjoyed the chapter on Sales (selling airtime) even though, prior to reading this book, I had little interest in sales of any kind. Many other topics (station management, news production, programming, etc.) are also covered in an in-depth manner. Anyone considering a career in radio should give this book a good read.

Good Book.

This book is up to date. It has current popular names in radio and has information about current radio technology. I think those are really the only things that get changed from each edition. This book gives a good general overview of all the aspects of radio.

a very good book to learn the art of broadcasting

We used this book in broadcast collage and i still use it today to keep fresh i covers the diffrent areas of the broadcast station and is a very helpful book to have around so yes get a copy today for when you need to refresh your self or just want to learn the art of the broadcast station I know i will be ordering another copy soon :)
