The Quiet Devil

So, what is a quiet devil? Is it a mute devil? Is it a deaf devil? Actually it is neither. The quiet devil is merely a symbolic reference that gives context to his subtlety. It is simply a more colorful epithet to describe the true nature and character of this particular devil. The term quiet deals more with how he moves and operates, rather than how he expresses himself verbally. He moves in silence and uses his subtlety as a disguise to deceive a person into thinking that he is harmless and innocent. By definition, the quiet devil is an evil spirit, a mental disposition, which subtly and secretly forms a strong grip of bondage in a person's life, by hiding in the darkness of a lie that it has convinced a person to accept as truth. I have come to realize that one of the devil's greatest deceptions is convincing people that he doesn't exist. And in turn, this gives him the ability to go undetected as he builds strongholds and inflicts devastation in a person's life. When a person can't identify the work of the devil in their life, it makes it that much more difficult to break free from wrongful behaviors, immoral habits and erroneous beliefs. He is very difficult to identify and very hard to recognize, until it is usually too late. This is not your grandmother's devil. Don't let his smooth taste fool you. The devil is not always roaring and vicious. More often than not, he is polite, reserved and easy going.
