Marty Mayer is a lifelong coach. He was a captain on the Baylor track team before beginning his high school coaching career. His teams won several state track titles before he became a volunteer assistant on the Northern Kentucky track team. He has served as an area representative for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Northern Kentucky for over twenty years. Marty and his wife, Bobbie, have been married for 45 years and have one son, Matthew. Matt and his wife Carolyn have made Marty and Bobbie proud grandparents of six grandchildren.
