Just finished reading The Quarter Queen!! I’ve always been a fan of Marie Laveau, and yet there is so little written about her day to day life. So I was excited to see how this story would be told. It’s fantasy, it is fantastic and relatable, and beautifully written. I loved the way the story is shared from both women's perspective. If you are a lover of Magick, Voodoo, legends, myths and everything in between, then this is your book. A Beautiful story of complex characters, relationships, questionable alliances, and hard choices, with the backdrop of New Orleans, intertwined with Magick.
