A nice book for preschoolers and early readers

We have a bunch of hand-me-down books from All Aboard Books that my daughter really likes, so I went looking for more books from this publisher. This is a nice cute story about a dog that loved his little boy owner so much that he follows him to school on the first day of school. Sweet story - cute and fun. Not our all-time favorite, but very enjoyable. We have definitely read it more than once
