James Parker was nineteen years old when he went to prison for a crime he didn't commit. He spent fifteen years surrounded by murderers, rapists, thieves, and other criminals. In his time in prison, James became bitter and angry at everyone around him, even God. In an effort to have some semblance of control, he turned to the Occult. Despite this however, when James is released from prison and returns to his home town, he is met with hate and disgust from the community.
