a compelling read

All of us have psychic capabilities...all we have to do is develop them. Jeffrey A. Wands, one of the most successful and acclaimed psychics in the country, offers his story of developing his abilities and guidance for readers to develop their own. "The Psychic In You" is a down to earth account of otherworldly communications. It is a very readable and interesting book that will captivate and inspire. By witnessing how Wands came to develop his skills, readers will learn to understand and harness their natural psychic powers. It all begins with recognizing the signs you may be overlooking, learning the language of spirits, and learning to believe what you are seeing, hearing, and even smelling. Wands offers help in the matters of being afraid of the dead, facing criticism, and cleansing yourself of negativity. He shares a meditation that helped him in his learning process and offers suggestions on developing your skills through analyzing your dreams, visualizing, practicing psychometry, and practicing contacting the dead. "Practice makes psychic!" Throughout the book Wands tells his story in autobiographical form, through intriguing anecdotes in efforts to emphasize the points he is making to help the reader develop his or her psychic side. amazing - it takes the work of John Edward one step further

This is an amazing book by a phenomenal psychic who takes the work of John Edward one step further. It's one of those rare books that you don't want to put down and when you're finished, you wish it would go on forever. Jeff Wands helps the reader become comfortable with the psychic world by relaying his knowledge in a very accessible way. You'll come away from this book with a better understanding of how to get a handle on your life. You'll also realize that the isolationist attitude that many of us have, is just not the way it really is. Once you get that, it makes life's burdens lighter, and the concept of developing one's psychic intuition is actually a very practical tool for self-improvement. I was lucky enough to be in the audience during a taping of The Maury Povich Show and he came up to me and totally blew me away. There was just no way he could have known that my parents had recently passed away within 3 months of each other, and that they were concerned about their cat, whose name begins with an "S". Very recently I had a reading with Jeff, which was absolutely tremendous. The detail he went into and the accuracy of his psychic intuition is just astounding. If you're looking to get your life on track, or just get to where you want to be sooner rather than later, you need to read this book and schedule a session with Jeffrey Wands. Even if it means waiting a year, it's well worth the wait. He can save you from lifetimes of going around in circles. It's also the kind of book you'll want to give to those you care about the most. AMAZING!

My mom sent me this book at college and i read it in maybe two nights...i couldnt put it down...it was one of the best books ever. its helped me cope with great losses in my life and i refer back to it daily...i would reccomend this book highly...its one of those books that change your life!

An amazing book and an amazing man

I read the book and finally felt as if all my concepts of the afterlife had been validated and expanded upon. Mr. Wands has great insight and through his many experiences and clear writing he is able to share these with the world. His pyschic ability, renowed and celebrated both nationally and internationally, is a blessing and a gift, and as a reader I felt dually blessed that he would share his theories and expertise. Thank you Mr. Wands.

Insightful and Inspiring

This is a wonderful book for people trying to recognize and develop psychic intuition. There are many examples and exercises to help you along. The personal stories themselves are forthright and thoughtful. I found myself anticipating each paragraph and only put the book down when I realized it was 3:00 am and I had to get up for work in the morning. I have seen Jeffrey on television several times and always thought he was an excellent and honest psychic medium.I highly recommend this book.
