In his Introduction, Fr. Michael writes:

I have read much of what David Bentley Hart has written-many of his books, of his articles, of his declarations on YouTube. He is not devoted to Holy Tradition, but to his interpretation of the Scriptures...He holds that the Church is fallible. He has his own understanding of theology, Christology, ecclesiology, and eschatology (Universalism)...He does not honor the declaration of St Paul, "But though an angel from heaven preaches another gospel to you let him be anathema" (Gal 1:8). I have no way to understand in what sense David Bentley Hart is an Orthodox Christian.
