With only a couple of weeks to study in order to retake the ACT, I was a nervous wreck. I wasn't satsified with my previous composite score of a 23. I stumbled upon this book, thinking, "Why not, I DO procrastinate everything, including studying. I received this book during the summer and I started studying it in late August, with my test date scheduled for September 24th. With the little time I had, I crammed for the test. It actually provided me with tips that I used during the test. The night before the test, I went over the material in the book one last time and got a good night's sleep. Well, I was too anxious to wait to receive my scores in the mail, so I went online and paid the $8 fee to see my scores early. My composite score went up 2 points; I got a 25! My English and Reading both went up a point. It was my Math and Science scores that surprised me. Last time, I scored a 19 in both subjects. This time, I received a 24 in Math and a 22 in Science. I can honestly say that this book gave me the skills I needed to get a better score. My only regret is that I didn't spend enough time studying it as I should've. BOTTOM LINE: BUY THIS BOOK, YOU WON'T BE SORRY!!!!!!!!
