Very happy with this book. My granddaughter's gonna love it!! Looks to be a very cute series. May have to buy her more.

The princess in black is my daughter's favorite book right now.

My daughter (6) loves the illustrations, the plot, and of course the main character. The chapters are short and simple. I am reading it aloud to her before bed at night but I expect she will be re-reading this to her self before Christmas.. I've heard re-reading a book you first listened to is actually really good for emerging readers.. I hope so because I want her to find a book she loves so much she can't wait for bedtime!!
