The Princess in Black Rocks!

We love this little book series. It's funny, adventurous, and everything I wanted a book to be for my kids. It's obviously meant for girls but my son loves listening to me read it too. The mom in me loves the idea of a little girl being a princess but being brave when she needs to be. I love the details of the Princess not being skinny and perfect, telling monsters "No!" in the books and the details in the pictures that match the plot and make it extra silly. The reader in me loves the plot resolutions, funny characters and sub plots (as sub as they are in a little book). Not a stupid princess book (they exist in abundance), worth having for kids. This is a series we have read over and over already and will keep on hand for years.
