The Prince and the Chicken is about two children born into royalty in different kingdoms. The parents in each kingdom take different approaches to parenthood which leads to different outcomes for their children.

The girl in the story does not treat people well and because of her actions, she becomes a chicken. The boy grows up to be respectful and kind.

The prince and the chicken meet in unusual circumstances with neither knowing the other's true identity. A baker plays a key role in how the two meet. This story is the journey of how the chicken is transformed back into a girl and the role the prince and two dreams play in that transformation.
