Palin Rudolph is overweight, shy, and happy to live a quiet life. Everything familiar is about to change in a way he could never imagine. After being suspended from work, Palin meets an strange doctor offering a free weight loss program. Palin and three other men accept, only to find themselves drugged and taken to an island off the coast of Sweden. In an underground bunker there, strange and dangerous experiments are taking place. Even though Palin becomes stronger and develops powers, he is convinced he will die there. With a stroke of luck, Palin finds a way to contact one of his friends. This seems like a ray of hope until the call turns into a nightmare. When Palin learns his friends are in danger, he embraces the inhuman forces in the darkest of places in the bunker, The Chamber. Although he does as his captors want, it doesn't guarantee the safety of his friends. As the situation becomes darker and more complicated, Palin has a serious decision to make. Does he redeem himself, or exact his revenge...possibly unable to return to his true self?
