It may be dated, but the threat still exists.

This movie is the essence of the Coburn movies of the time. Moreover, if you lived through the era, then you would be amused by how accurate the movie is. For the Carle Jung crowd, this is a part of history that should not be missed. The clothing, speech, and attitudes match the time. Much more important is the message, and the President's A-n-a-l-y-s-t exposes the threat that we all should be aware of. Who are the good guys? Who are the baddies? When you are the President’s A-n-a-l-y-s-t, whom can you turn to? The basic story is about Doctor Sidney Schaefer (James Coburn), who is picked to be the President’s A-n-a-l-y-s-t; you get to see Coburn's maniacal grimace as he slowly goes crazy under pressure. The FBR is out to get him even before he decides to escape the situation. However, under the surface of the cat-and-mouse chase is the real threat.
