A helping hand for beginners

First rate book for beginners and more advanced students I can thoroughly recommend this book. Charles had a great knack for teaching, his students all received a thorough grounding in this work as well as learning the importance of simplicity. Learned and wise, at his best he was tremendously inspiring and a lot of fun. If you read this book and learn his methods you will start on the path with a good grounding and will avoid a great many pitfalls that might otherwise trip you up. Enjoy the journey.

A great practical disemination of the ancient text.

Much of modern and old magick is based on the Qabalah. This ancient Hebrew text sets the groundwork for the mysticism we still practice today. Wicca and Golden Dawn are both very much rooted in Qabalat teachings. Fielding's Practical Qabalah disects the often cryptic Qabalah and puts it into modern context. He breaks down the Sephirot (Circles of the Tree of Life) and even provides a basic primer in reading Hebrew.
