The Power of God's Word

God has chosen to record the narratives of certain historical events in all of human history. These narratives comprise His written Word, packaged for mankind. We must give special consideration when reading and studying them. They do not grace the pages of Scripture by mistake. They are not myths and fairy-tales. Our Lord strategically placed each historical narrative in His Word to communicate His program to mankind. God has laid many layers of meaning into each account. Godly men and women have carefully exposed these gemstones over the generations. Some emeralds remain hidden in the deeper soil. But God will reveal the entire scope of His program through His written Word before Jesus Christ returns to rule this world. God will use the fully exposed panorama to prepare His children for what lies ahead. This book will hopefully chip away more dirt and debris to expose new layers of meaning embedded in these Bible stories. Perhaps the interested reader will mine some precious gemstones, useful for building the fullness of Christ into every believer.
