Bring this with you everywhere

I really love this book. I found it useful not only in my clinical rotations but during my nursing lectures and while studying as well. It provides the critical information needed about disease processes, lab values, clinical procedures, and other helpful information.

pretty good resource

I bought this book as a first-year nurse. It is very helpful for triage according to symptoms and has some other great information. I just wish it had more specific conditions...it doesn't really address abnormal labs, electrolyte imbalance, etc. Not quite as thorough as I would like but good for the price and it's not too bulky.

Good Tool for immediate and common problems!

This book is nicely compact on common prob that arise in the hospital. The list of s/s what the nurse does, rationale. Also a really good on the TPN, all machines, vents, BIpap care, Cental cath lines truly a good book when alarms go off what to fix, also med-surg d/o with s/s and nursing care it is a nice portable tool to have on the floor.
