I had never read Martha Freeman's books, and being a clerk in a library's youth services dept., I felt perhaps I should get to know her - and I'm very glad I did! This book is terribly funny, but it isn't fluff by any means. The characters are highly, believable, especially Molly, through whose eyes we see what goes on. Martha knows kids.
