Memories

I just turned 63 and the first and most lasting book memory in my mind, is my Mother buying me The Poky Little Puppy and reading it to me over and over. I had no idea that The Poky Little Puppy's First Christmas existed; until now. Like the anniversary edition I purchased this for my first and only grandchild. I loved this story (I read it first) and like the original the illustrations are wonderful. As soon as my granddaughter gets closer to reading (she's only a year old) She will receive both copies and grandpa will read them to her as my Mother read to me.

A Cute Christmas Story

This is a fun Christmas story for a child under seven years old based on the Poky Little Puppy character. The illustrations are classic. A nice book to read over the Christmas Holiday.

Favorite Christmas Book

I recently purchased this book as a gift for a friend's new baby. I LOVE this book. It is one of my favorites from my own childhood and I pull out my copy from the 70's out and read it every year. I consider this book a must have for children.

Great Book for Kids

My mother bought this book for my son, to start a new family tradition. Every Christmas, my mother would read me the Poky Little Puppy and now she reads this book to her Grandson.It is cute to see what trouble the puppies and The Poky Little Puppy get into while trying to have a good Christmas. I would really recommend getting this book, plus the other Poky Little puppy book, a great collection to have.
