Struggled to read

I'll be honest, I sped read this. I really struggled to get into the storyline as it felt very one dimensional. It wasn't bad writing that made it boring to me, it was the singular settings - most of the story took place during group meetings where the members assessed their research on a murder. - A lot of long conversations, not much action.
