The Poetry Anthology

This is a book of my poetry. It is about most everything that I could think of. It all began in 2003, when I was 15 years old. The poem that I wrote then is called "The Peace Prayer." It is about 9/11/2001. It was written in 2003. It is special to me, yet I have improved since then. This book contains a lot of my poetry from 2003 to 2020. This is a labor of love for me. It all started with me reading a poem that my mom wrote in 1997. During this time I took an interest in poetry itself. Her poem is called "Little House." It is about my dad's mom's house that she used to live in. She no longer lives in that house. It was tore down years later. You can read it later in this book. I started writing poems again in the Spring of 2005. The poem that I wrote then is called "Life's Journey." It won the then Poetry.com's Editor's Choice award in 2005. It is about life itself. I also won the same award for two years after 2005. In 2008 I wrote my last poem till 2011.After that I would not write till 2016. I still do enjoy writing poems. I will add a new poem in this book at the end of the chapter 2011-2020. I knew after winning those three awards that people liked my poetry. Now I will find out if y'all like them.
