The various literal-historical, theoretical and aesthetic problems of the Azerbaijani folklore and written literature have been sufficiently and thoroughly researched. However, research of the "Kitabi Dede-Gorgud" and "Koroghlu" eposes as well as the classical Azerbaijani novel needs a new attitude. The present monograph comparatively analyses on the platitude of new attitude both the issues of poetics, semantics, and psychoanalysis of the "Kitabi Dede-Gorgud" epos and connection of "Koroghlu" with the Chinese geography and the Azerbaijani novel with the traditions of the Western European novels.
