The Plum Plum Pickers

"The Plum Plum Pickers" Is about the life of an immmigrant worker in which poverty becomes a cycle caused by cold weather. The family becoming dependent on immensely low salary in which it makes Mr. Turner believe that he was helping the immigrant workers by employing and abusing them . Yet, misery was the greatest factor and was shared by all social classes. The immigrant workers misery was caused by not having the simply necessities of life (food and water). "The Plum Plum Pickers" is definitely one novel in which I believe everyone who lives in the United States must read.
