The Plight of the Martyr: dying on unnecessary hills

By Emily R Oakley

Martyrdom is generally an admirable action in which one dies for a noble and worthy cause. However, not every type of martyrdom is a holy one. Whether at the altar of tasks, people, etc., some hills are not meant to be climbed. This book aims to help the reader understand what the Lord wants us to take on and what needs to be surrendered into His loving arms. While we strive to live with excellence, we can find peace and assurance that the ultimate battle has already been won.
