concise, simple, "to the point," no fluff

in searching for a book that 1. specifically targeted the Pittsburgh area 2. had a reliable/trustworthy listing of prominent companies (instead of complining one myself), the Pittsburgh Job Bank fulfilled my demands exactly. the brief but extremely tip-filled and concise guide to job-seeking was a pleasant surprise and added value. the companies listing itself is neatly divided into primary industry segments. though my search for Mechanical Engineering-related companies was not precisely hit, the Automotive and Gas/Energy/Manufacturing industries were close and the listing of professional organizations in those fields closed in on my hunt. the listings also caused me to brainstorm about my choices into companies and areas i'd never have otherwise considered.
