Practical teaching as well as inspiration.

This book is a handbook as the title suggests, in the sense that it contains simple, practical instruction for the application of spiritual attitudes and practices to everyday life. Written from the perspective of the author's personal experience as a seeker "on the path" it is a sensible and easily read composite of esoteric thought, conventional religious teaching, psychology and common sense. Learning of Barnwell's concept of "Sacred Space" is alone, worth the price of the book. The workshop format of the last section would be a great help to many. This one teaches as well as it inspires.
