Farmer Jim and his wife bring home a new puppy named Roscoe. The new pup is bored and lonely. He eventually overcomes his fear and goes outside to make new friends. Roscoe is small, and the other farm animals barely acknowledge his presence until a friendly piglet named Scarlett Peppers introduced herself to him. The two become close and spend the rest of their afternoon playing together. This starts a wonderful friendship, and the two will go on to share many adventures together.
