A police detective loses his family over his work. He quits the force to become a Private Investigator and hopefully win his wife back. His wife moves on but his now eighteen year old daughter moves back home with him. Together, with the aid of her school friends, they become embroiled in what seems to be a protection racket centered around several dozen small businesses perpetrated by local gangs. Their investigation goes south in a hurry when they discover who the true gang is and what their ultimate goal is. With the aid of a top notch computer hacker, they uncover an international plot to smuggle terrorists into America. That brings the FBI and Mossad down on them. They race against time to try to stop them before the bombings begin.
