Low-key, engaging

This is a quiet character study. Nicely done. Easy to read. A pleasant change of pace from my usual action-packed thrillers. "Photographer" lost one star because I hate (as in, HATE) continuity errors. (In this case: 1) all of the grandparents are being photographed inside the apartment, then in the next paragraph they enter the apartment; 2) all relevant photoshopped records are deleted, yet - bam! - there they are.) Such lapses make me feel that the author is kinda lazy and that the editor doesn't care (so why should I).

Wild ride

The Photographer is a story that will make you shake your head many times. The skilled Photographer is great at her job. But when the wild ride gets out of control things make you want to read more. I hope there will be a movie from this book.
