Barnaby Sunkeeper, owner of the Winking Dagger Grogshop, is in trouble, and Zane and Blaise are the only ones who can help him. They must find another ancient relic that is rumored to bring the dead back to life, and their new quest will bring them to Tremayne, the Land of Dwarves, as well as Fiachra, the Land of Thrimm. They face new monsters, evil spirits, unyielding terrain, and the horrors they keep bottled up in their own souls. They traverse canyons and deserts, try their hand at tomb raiding, and meet many new friends along the way, including a kleptomaniac Dwarf, even if the last thing Zane wants in the world is anymore friends.
