The development of the Information Society has contributed to the accelerated use of personal data, which is inevitably under threat. Following the example of certain countries, C te d'Ivoire has decided to take legislative measures to protect the personal data of its citizens. A legal framework has therefore been put in place, establishing not only a Data Protection Authority, but also the function of Personal Data Protection Correspondent.
