Cara is a fourth-year ballet student at the prestigious Jewel Academy, and aspires to perform on the world's top stages. When she meets Daniel, who already is a professional hip-hop dancer, she finds him arrogant and tries to avoid him at all cost. Daniel comes to her rescue when he offers to be her partner in "America's Best Dancer," a TV dance competition for couples that offers a $100,000 prize for the winners. Cara accepts and they audition, where she barely makes the cut by showing her ability with ballet. Will their relationship survive the ups and downs of the competition?
