An insidious figure operates behind the scenes manipulating society, exploiting the working class and dumbing-down the population. Rambunctious children are unwittingly identified as a threat to society and controlled through medication. Dr. Julie Anderson, an animal psychologist is exploited, without her knowledge into assisting the government with its terrifying agenda. Graduate student, Michael Fielder discovers the dormant gene responsible for triggering a powerful survival response in the human mind. The novel evolves with the protagonist uncovering the military's mysterious plans to victimize and exploit the populace. The novel is a mixture of Atlas Shrugged and State of Fear by Michael Crichton. Footnotes and the philosophy of Objectivism are intertwined onto this fast paced psychological thriller.
