The Pattern of an Antioch Church or Apostolic Hub

Many emerging apostolic and prophetic pioneers are hearing the call to prepare "new wine skins" to hold the new wine. There is a realization that God is bringing repentance, refreshing, reviving, restoring, and reformation to prepare the end time church for the marriage of the Lamb. The trumpet is sounding and the Lord is calling for greater holiness, greater consecration, greater levels of faith, and a deeper intimacy with Jesus.

There have been many clear prophetic voices calling us to go back to the book of Acts and to restore the model of an Antioch type equipping church or a last day apostolic hub, but there has not been clear biblical teaching on what an apostolic hub is from scripture. The training hub Paul established in Ephesus and the church in the city brought revival to the city and took the gospel to an estimated 8-13 million people throughout Asia. A small group of people created networks and planted churches that touched the region.

What church is and how we 'do church' must align with God's word. There will be an end time church that will be able to accommodate the radical transformation that will occur in people's hearts as His Spirit is poured out. This church will manifest authentic kingdom authority, grace, love, and godly character. What does this mean? It means there will be churches who are willing to change their values, their vision, and the way they do things to facilitate the transformational change that will begin to occur in people's lives to prepare for these last days. They will not compromise or bow to culture, but will align with what God is revealing and calling His church to be.

Are you willing to change. Are you willing to question and challenge your presuppositions and say Lord I look to your word for the pattern of what you are calling your church to step into.
