A fine beginning

This volume was written by long time pastor and Seminary Professor Homer Kent. He is the father of Homer Kent Jr., former President and Professor at Grace Theological Seminary. Therefore this book does have some age on it. But never the less, it is a fine work detailing the life and duties of a pastor. The book reflects Dr. Kents years of Expereince and love for both Jesus Christ and the people under his care. The book in content deserves 5 stars, but the 'dating' of the text draws it down to 4.
