Locked away from society and prison population, a person has a choice whether to transform into something greater or give up. I choose to transform into something greater. During this process I reflected on who I was in the past, who I had to become at that moment, and what I would be in the future. My desperate times were transmuted in these poems of raw feelings with no filter. Writing these poems got me through these unbearable times in my life and my only hope is that they will help, encourage, or inspire you at the perfect time.
