the passenger is a story about as young man in his thirties who has found a dead body in the country side on the side of a road. it is night time as he tries to figure why he was there as just before he find s him he is run off the road by a deer, believing that he had hit the body and killed this young man. as he goes through the stress of the thought Benjamin the post man, is haunted by the thought, as he finds a package and remove sit from the dead boys arms not knowing what it is only later finds out that it is ticking.
