Solid advice for parents but sometimes parents need a coach too!

I really like Diana Sterling's advice in this book. It is solid and my own experience tells me it works. What it takes to follow her advice well, however, is the parent's ability to do his/her own self-reflective work. She says that clearly. What she doesn't say is that it isn't easy to do without support. Yes, I am a coach, but no, I don't think every parent needs a coach. Some people, though, will find it hard to break out of their long standing patterns without external support. Read the book- and then if you are struggling with making the shifts she recommends, go find a coach!
